# Box-Rank vs BoxRec: which boxing site should you use?

Box-Rank is for official monthly rankings from the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring. BoxRec is for fight records, boxer pages, and title history from the fights.

## Should I use Box-Rank or BoxRec?

They do different jobs, and a lot of people use both.

[BoxRec](https://boxrec.com/) is the place for fight records. You go there to see who beat who, a boxer's career, a fight night or the history of each world title based on the championship fights.

Box-Rank is the place for official monthly rankings. You go there for the latest [WBA](/organization/wba), [WBC](/organization/wbc), [IBF](/organization/ibf), [WBO](/organization/wbo), and [Ring](/organization/ring) lists in one place. You can compare the same weight class across those lists, look back at older months, and see who has held each belt according to those rankings. Title history sits on each ranking page, under the table.

If you want records, use BoxRec. If you want the monthly ranking lists, use Box-Rank.
