Ring Magazine’s latest ratings update on Box-Rank covers middleweight, featherweight, and minimumweight. The middleweight changes track a clear headliner: Aaron McKenna beating Etinosa Oliha for the vacant IBF title. The other two divisions mostly reflect recent performances and Ring’s top-ten reshuffle.
Middleweight: McKenna’s Dublin title win reshapes the ten
On 8 August 2026 at the 3Arena in Dublin, McKenna won the vacant IBF middleweight title with a unanimous decision over Oliha (scores 118-110, 117-111, 116-112). Going in, Ring had Oliha at #5 and McKenna at #6 - a top-ten matchup that the Irishman dominated.

Featherweight: Gonzalez enters after stopping Alameda
At featherweight, Albert Gonzalez enters Ring’s top ten at #10. That tracks his breakthrough stoppage of former title challenger Aaron Alameda in two rounds on 18 July 2026 in Carson, California - a result Ring itself highlighted when Gonzalez called out the 126-pound champions.
Making room in the ten, Mirco Cuello drops out (was #6). The fighters immediately below him each step up one place: Ra'eese Aleem to #6, Cristobal Lorente to #7, Omar Trinidad to #8, and Lorenzo Parra to #9.

Minimumweight: Zhu rises, Acosta Silveira replaces Sibanda
At minimumweight, DianXing Zhu moves up to #9. That follows his May 2026 IBF title-eliminator win over Ian Abne in Cebu - a unanimous decision that earned Zhu a mandatory shot at champion Pedro Taduran.
Beaven Sibanda drops out of the ten (was #9). He has been sidelined by a serious Achilles injury and earlier this year turned down an IBF title opportunity while rehabbing - the kind of long layoff that often costs a Ring rating.
Russell Acosta Silveira enters at #10, continuing an undefeated run that includes a January 2026 tenth-round stoppage of Edinson Martínez in Mérida.
